I am trying to reprogram a WRM4R1 using Toolkit 1.3.2 and have a few concerns:-

When selecting Recall1 as a short release on key 4, the box goes blank.

Where do you set the timeout time on a timer. It seems to have vanished from the blocks tab?

What are Param1 and Param2 on the blocks tab?

These two are related. On the Key functions tab the timer interval is now selected by the Param1 item.

Some C-Bus wireless microfunctions have parameters. Param1 for a timer is the timer interval, Param 1 for a Ramp Off is the ramp off rate, Param1 for an Increment microfunction is the percentage to increment and Param2 is the rate of ramping, etc. This makes the C-Bus Wireless devices much more configurable than Wired C-Bus in this regard.

The Param1 and Param2 on the Blocks Tab are the parameters for the Expiry Command that has been selected, if applicable.

Alternatively, if you've selected a key to be a timer using the Function drop-down box (up the top of the programming window) then you can just click the little box to the right of where it says 'timer' and all the programming parameters applicable to the timer are presented neatly there.

You're going to have to provide more info here. Which box goes blank? Where and how are you selecting the Short Release on key 4 to be a Recall1?

Oh, and lastly, what is the firmware version of your unit?

Thanks for the quick response. Attached are 2 screen shots. The key functions screen shot shows the blank box, which is where I am trying to set the function. The firmware version is 1.5.0.

The other shot shows the blocks screen. As you can see, although there is both a timer and a ramp off function set there is nothing shown in the param boxes. Can you explain this?

Hmm, I can't explain that one. It works fine for me. Try selecting 'timer' for the key function up the top of the Programming UI next to the key and see if that fixes it.

On the Blocks tab the Param1 and Param2 items only apply to the microfunction that is selected for the Timer Expiry command. All of the other commands associated with that key are configured on the Key Functions tab only. In your screenshot you have Off Key selected here and the Off Key does not use Param1 or Param2.

If you select a Timer Expiry command of Ramp Off, for example, and then click in the Param1 field next to it then you should get a drop-down box with the available ramp rates in it.

It looks like there's a small bug there as the value of Param1 is not becoming visible until you actually click in the box. It should be visible straight away.
