Since upgrading from 1.2.2 to 1.3.x, I have problems opening DIMMERs and RELAYs from the database. The units are 5104RVF and 5104D750. This worked in all previous versions. I can open them from the network but cannot open them from the database. When I try to open them I get -------------------------------- Warning - 45130 Database and Network Units have different firmware versions, for which different GUIs are used. Change the firmware version of the Database Unit to be the same as on the Network Unit? If you choose no, the existing database unit will be opened for programming. -------------------------------- If I respond with NO the following error occurs Error - 20040 No Unit Specification available. Sorry for posting the whole error message, but if I try to send it from the dialogue as EMail, the mail server/virus scanner picks up on the filename/extension and believes it has a virus and refuses to send it. Martin
Hi, Those particular units show Firmware version 1.0.0 in the database and 1.00 in the network. The key inout units 503x units all show 1.2.67 in the database and 1.00 in the network. Except for one unit which shows 1.2.67 in the database and 1.2.66 in the network. This is a later version key input with the orange light not the red light. This unit shows the CBus voltage. The key inputs all open in either the database or network and can be edited with no problems. The 5500CN and Wireless gateway show version 4.4.00 in both the database and the network. Martin
Marty, A clean up of our catalog was a little ambitious, I'll email you a file to fix this issue. We have a Service Pack coming out soon to fix this and mop up a couple of other little 1.3 issues that have come to light.
Thanks for that. I shutdown toolkit/cgate. I renamed the original file. Copied updated file. Restarted Toolkit. This time it updated the database from the network. The firmware versions displayed in the database and network did not change. The Relay obtained a catalog number of 5504RDP from the network when on the physical unit it sys 5104RVF. It picked up the Dimmer number OK. Regards Martin
An update addressing the issue : [Unit Catalog] Some missing firmware versions added for some early DIN Rail Output units (pre-learn). - fixed Can be found here : http://www.cbusforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2279
