Just tried to change the group names and new version not allow the "/"
I use lots of times to show outside groups - ie O/S
    now shows OS

Dave its not a bug, for a long time there WAS a bug, TK was allowing all sorts of characters in names that it should not have.

We have finally got it reject things that are bad for it :)

So you want "/" added back in?

    Ashleigh,
Yes please sir - makes the os look better as o/s (outside lights etc). also makes it easy to pick up all the o/s groups in Piced for outside scenes and menus.
Why just knock out the non printing characters and things like ".

    Ashleigh,

What about fullstops? I use them for numbering units ie S01.02.

Hmm. Damned if we do and damned if we don't.

I just checked the original reported defect. The full-stop character (".") is permitted.

I'll put in a request to allow "/" again. THERE MAY BE UNDESIRABLE CONSEQUENCES and if thats the case then it might not be possible to put it back. That it worked before was by accident rather than by design.

If it can be put back, I can't promise you when. Please let me know if this is a show-stopper.

If it really bugs you, roll back to TK 1.8.1 (but you lose the groups-where-used addition).

    Thanks Ashleigh,
