What does Vista Stage 1 support mean ?? Charles
Actually Ross is correct It means the obvious Vista UI things (like the Help system) are in place. Later stages will deal with things like the filesystem.
To elaborate. In Windows Vista the older "Win Help" format is deprecated. Toolkit (and future Clipsal products) will use CHM (compiled HTML) format.
Vista support Phases 2 and 3 require major changes to the file system and places where projects are stored, and full (USB) driver validation. Both of these are major pieces of work which don't actually add any value for our customers, they are just playing "nice" in Vista-land. As a result of looking at all the impacts of Vista, we've picked off the nasty ones and done them, the others need budget, time, and to be fitted in around product support.
