Toolkit 116 Express - Fails

It's late - I'm tired - i have no patience !

Bloody toolkit wont load - compains the project is bad (it loads ok in the main toolkit program)

Anyway to get round this ?

 

Why ?

G, I'm intrigued. The release note for 1.1.6 says:

> this is a slightly cut down version of the software
> for use by people who want to gradually learn
> Toolkit. It only shows the Network View of units
> and the same set of Group Tags etc gets used
> on each site.

So, if you're already using full toolkit, why then use Express?

What am I missing??

I've only used the toolkit twice so far to get a basic system up and running as I convert the house.

At the time, express was all I used - and it doesnt work anymore.

Sorry to hear you're having trouble.

I'm unsure what the issue is.. you can try this.

1. Ensure Toolkit is shutdown.

2. Using Windows Explorer navigate to the dir : C:\Clipsal\CGate\tag\

3. Rename the file "basic.xml" to "basicold.xml"

Restart Toolkit.

if this does fix it.. could you email me the basicold.xml file?

OK, so now i've installed toolkit116 on my Thinkpad (I'm now using a MSS100 to go from Serial to Ethernet).

Anyway, just tried express for the very first time - it barfs.

If I remove my .xml config file from the tag dir, then express loads up fine. I'll PM you my config.
