I am a new user of the C-BUS although I did a C-bus training course last December. My boss is going to build a house with C-bus, and he wants me to do some testing of C-bus components. I do have a C-bus Demo with 5500PCU, a relay and dimmer and couple of input units, but I ccouldn't connect pc, for toolkit it says 'PCI found failed identify'.

Did anyone meet that before?

 

try setting the com port
file> set default interface
or alternatively use the "find networks" button and you could search or find which com port your using with your PC interface

 

Check whether 5500PCU is properly installed in your computer and which virtual comport is assign to it. Then try to set the default interface.
Otherwise create a new project and set the network connection type as serial and address as your com port name(make sure you plug your PCI). then click on the open network button to open the network.
