I had a local network project set up with all the groups and DLT tags in the local network.

    Next I have added a remote network and moved a lot of the DLTs to this network, now when I use the ?Copy Tags? it;
    1 Copies the group data
2 Doesn?t set the DLT default language to Australian
3 Doesn?t copy any DLT text data across

Tried redoing with the default language set to Aus but the DLT data is still not copied.

Any thoughts on easy way to get the DLT text across to remote network.
The only way so far is to move units back to local network. load text and lock unit then move unit to network 2.

Customized DLT text will not copy to new network since it is bitmap image.
you can get DLT text by fist click on the new network on the tree menu and then select the DLT labels button on left pane.
now deselect the "only shows labels used in DLT units" and then select what ever groups you want to change the DLT labels.
under varient 1, select custom fonts. then select previously customized DLT labels from the drop down list below.

hope this will help you to solve your problem

    yes, I understood your issue.
It seems there's no so solution other than editing the XML tag file.
download any xml editing software and copy the network tag and do the correct hex addressing.

    Tks for your reply

Editing the XML file seems to be the way to go

Do you know any good XML editing software ??

What do I need to do with the HEX addressing, not sure I understand the HEX bit I only use decimal stuff

So if I understand you if I copy the network tags across, all will work ok.
