Toolkit Error 20040

    Just visited an old site and used Toolkit 1.4.1 to scan the network and saved all units to the database, but trying to open the B&W CTtouch on both the database and the network views causes.
    Error 20040 no unit spec available

    Adding a new unit to the database works ok
    Any Ideas ???

    I too have this problem, but didn't want to put my hand up just yet in case I was missing something obvious.

    I hate being hit with the idiot stick.

    The C-Bus revision of my C-Touch's is V4.00

    Thanks for reporting that, we're looking into it now.

    Can you both confirm the exact version reported by your units (in the Network view of Toolkit)... decimals and number of zeros are important.

    Can not give u the network data as site about 5 hours from here all I have is what was TX to the database (as above) but note not much data there. Will going back to site in a few weeks so can get it then if still needed, also another thing that happens is every time a project is load into the touch the calibration is out (so far I can not reset on screen, have to take over from laptop). Also its got the 2.2.mot firmware in it.

    I can't see the info your looking for in toolkit.

    However the unit reports the following.

    Monitor Version 1.1
    C-Touch Firmware 2.2.0
    C-Bus Firmware 4.0.0

    I have 2 of these units that I added to the network and then used toolkit to scan for them.

    Thank you Rohan,

    The C-Touch unit with 4.0.0 C-Bus firmware will be supported in the next release of Toolkit.

    To see unit's firmware version in Toolkit you need to scroll to the right in the "Units on Network" view after scanning the Network and check the column Firmware. Also you can see this information on the unit GUI, in the field "Firmware Version" on the "Unit Identification" tab.
