Toolkit Groups Add

If you make a list of group names with no address and go to the groups add and select say 20 it adds the group names from address 1.

I would have expected it to increments from address 20 adding the names.

If the length of a group name is larger then the max the add groups reports that its been added then toolkit crushes when you hit ok

Hiya Dave,

I get a message saying that the tag name exceeds 32 characters, and the groups are not added into Toolkit. i.e. no crash.

What was the error message you saw?

Have sent a few crush emails to you, this is what i get attached
and was trying to add this;
28 DVD/DTV/CD/VCR/MCE/IPOD Track/CH+
29 DVD/DTV/CD/VCR/MCE/IPOD Track/CH-

the single group add truncates the text its the "add groups" option.

cutting and paste from excel into toolkit and can reproduce every time

just emailed you the excel sheet

Dave, Try it without the + & - signs.

I have had trouble in the past with similiar characters.

If you try adding this - one byte longer than the max length,
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx1
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx2

looks like toolkit truncates, then you have duplicate names, in my case droping the plus/minus and toolkit crashes
DVD/DTV/CD/VCR/MCE/IPOD Track/CH +
DVD/DTV/CD/VCR/MCE/IPOD Track/CH -
