    Hi

I have just taken over a CBus installation. My parents house. We just had the Minder system die and be replaced with homegate on a PC. I am using CNI interface to talk to the CBUS network.

The initial transfer of information was done from the minder system to homegate by the installers. I have now started looking at CBus Toolkit and HomeGate.

My current issue is that there are a lot of units on the network ( looking at this through Cbus ToolKit) that are not full sync in with the database. So they exist, but say something like serial number only.

I am presuming that the info on the cbus network is the current up to date, because the system is working, but I am looking for an easy way to merge the information together with out looking at each individual item and comparing it.

My other thought was to create a new project and just import in from the network? Only problem with this is that homegate is linked into the current project and I am looking at just fixing up the toolkit first before looking at homegate - don't want to dive in too deap

    Any suggestions ?

I just upgraded from Toolkit 1.4 to 1.5 and now have the same messages

In the Database it says under
Exists in Network -> Serial Number Only

    On the network under
Exists in Database -> Serial Number Only

Not all units say this, this only appeared after upgrading to 1.5

The firmware in C-Bus units is not upgradeable (with the exception of the CTouch).
