Perhaps you could have a look at the CoolMaster http://www.xdimax.com/cool/cool-t.html
I have the Daikin version set up on four units with some logic in Homegate sending the the strings to operate them.
It works quite well for me on the Daikins.

Thank you for educating me. I dont know why they dont perhaps have a VRF to Contact interface. I would rather use dry contacts.

Toshiba may well have an interface or add in board for relay operated on and off control.
I use relay control via an add in board on the 2.5kw Daikin in my office.
If you were after more than just on and off or need to control multiple units the Coolmaster is an option.

    Thanks
! Toshiba has an internal bus indeed
and i would like to gain full control of the system, not just on/off

It is supposed to be similar to Daikin, so i hope there is a device for Toshiba...
going to look at the link...

Regarding connection to the Coolmaster interface.
The fellow who did the logic for mine put me onto an ethernet device server for the CBus logic to RS232.
It allows a great deal of flexibility in locating the equipment and also allows you to monitor the goings on with something like hyperterminal.
In this case it is also connected to the zone control for two seperate ducted units.
Make sure you can do it or can find someone who can do the logic to get it all happening otherwise it could turn into a career.

    CoolMaster

Thank you guys, you have been very helpfull.

I went to the refference link and found out, that they have CoolMaster fo many manufacturers, with the same RS232 ASCII protocol! It means i can use it a standard solution also fo my future projects...

Sounds too good to be true...

I can give you Wiser code to control a Coolmaster (in my case connected to 9 Daikin AC units). It ports easily to a PAC or Colour CTouch. PM me if you would like it.
