You can do this sort of thing without having to revert to logic.

    - Make sure all 8 pairs of lights are assigned to independent relay channels, but assigned to the same Group Address.
    - Configure a key unit or your C-Touch to ramp the group address on over a 20 second period.
    - Configure the turn-on thresholds in the relay so that the first channel turns on at minimum, the next channel turns on at 10%, the next channel turns on at 20%, etc.

As the group address ramps from 0% to 100% over 20 seconds, the first pair will turn on immediately, the next pair 2 seconds later, then next pair 2 seconds later... etc.

Ok, Finelly i'm getting around to do this now, and i've got it all done, but without me sounding dumb,
how do i assign the inderpendant relays to the same address group?
i can create the address group, but how do i assign then to it?

In the drop-down box for each channel you can select the C-Bus Group Address. All you need to do is select the same group for each channel using the drop-down boxes.

In the attached screenshot I've also shown how to configure the turn-on thresholds.
