Does anyone have this installed and able to control the thermostat remotely without any issues?

    Flash Web UI
    1. Thermostat settings set to Farenheight in CBUS Toolkit but shows Room Temp as 33 degrees F when initially turned on and a Set Point of 72 degrees F.
    2. Can turn on the Heat (I only have heat) by hitting the left "sun" icon. This defaults to 72 degrees F regardless of previous setting.
    3. If heat is already turned on, the UI shows it as off.

Android app, v1.05 per website (shows as v1.04 in app info screen):
    • No ability to control any settings / no write ability
    • Opening up the heater widget does not show current status (except per below)
    • If you are on the thermostat screen and turn the heater on through the flash UI, it shows temperature but this temperature does not match whats on the Flash Web UI or physically on the thermostat.

I had this issues at a site to. I did not realise that wiser ONLY supports the Reverse cycle Plant type.

Change to that and works. but not optimal for the plant it controls.

The Wiser Home Control does not support all possible features of the HVAC Application. The following limitations are applied for Wiser Home Control projects:

? Only reverse cycle plant is supported

    ? Schedule control is ignored

? Heating and cooling fan speeds are assumed to be the same

? It is assumed that all operating types are allowed

? The default temperature range is assumed

I have a four zone system working fine with individual temperature control of each zone via damper modulation. Both the iPhone and Android apps work locally and remotely.

Firstly make sure the thermostat is working correctly by itself. As mentioned it needs to be in Reverse Cycle Plant Type. You also need to set 'Enable Sending of CBus Messages on the CBus tab.

Make sure you have set up the HVAC manager correctly under PICED project/CBus Applications/. If you connect PICED to Cbus and go to the HVAC Application Manager Zone tab you should see the current status of the thermostat.

Then check that the correct Zone Group and Zone is selected in the HVAC widget.

If all that is correct it should work just fine.

    Ashley,

Thanks for your help. It appears that "Enable Sending of CBus Messages" was the problem.

Is there any way to make it so that I can adjust the temperature in increments of one instead of only falling on the even numbers? It seems like it might be changing it in degrees Celsius instead of Fahrenheit, hence the decimals. 66.2 F is 19.0 C, and if I hit the minus to lower one more degree, it goes to 64.4 which is 18.0 C.

Wow, usually it's us Aussies that are stuck with your way of doing things. First time I've seen it the other way around :D

There is no (supported) way of changing the way the wiser widgets work. All you can do is get onto your local CBus rep and request better localization support.

If you are really keen ,the CBus HVAC protocol transmits temperature set points in degC to a resolution of 1/256 of a degree so you could add your own User System IO variable widget and write a small bit of logic to connect it with the HVAC Set Level system IO.
