    Hi.
My apologies for this newbie question.
I am helping a non-profit organisation configure a 18 year old CBus installation. We need to redirect a switch to turn on a different channel on a dimmer.

We have Toolkit v1.17.0 installed on a Windows 10 notebook. It connects to a DIN PC Interface via a USB to RS232 cable. We can see all the units with a network Scan, as well as their serial numbers and firmware versions. We can also download the configuration details for the switch (KEYBL5, v1.4.00).

But the configuration download for the two output units - the dimmer (DIMPR4, v1.3.0) and a relay (RELDN4, v1.3.0) - both failed at about the 50% mark. All the channels are marked as <Unused> even though the defined lighting Group numbers are available in the drop down menu. The current setup is working properly, so we know that the configurations are encoded in the units.

    What could be the problem?
    Many thanks

Communication problem, I suggest you rescan the network then open the PC interface and enable the burden if its not already done, then rescan the network, and see if that gives any better results.
