We need to update an existing couchscreen which has been set up previously, and now needs some amendments. However, the original project file is not available.

I seem to recall somewhere on the PICED menu that it was possible to download a project from a touchscreen, which I assume can then be manipulated, with the necessary changes added, and then uploaded back on to the touchscreen. Is this correct, and if so, is it possible to do everything which could be done had the original project file been available, or are there some drawbacks to this method?

The CTC transfer utility allows you to upload a project from the CTC to your PC. This will contain the whole PICED project as well as the toolkit project. This resides in the start menu, PICED folder.

When uploaded it will be saved as a cta file. To import this archive file into PICED select 'import from archive' in the project wizard when you first open PICED. Once imported you will have the original project that was transferred to the unit.
