i am looking at using arrays to monitor various groups on various networks of an installation. what i wont to do is to monitor if a particular group is on and if so log the time in array. Then from the time array i wont to see which load has been on for more than 1 hour and then to turn the load off.
The proposed module will be used to see which pc's have been left on during out of office times and then turn the main power off to the monitors to save money on power. So this module will be enabled/disabled by a schedule running in schedule plus.
Can any give me a bit of advise on writing the module.
an example would be great using say network 247 and addresses 03,06,10
    Thanks
    Simon

 sounds like a lot of un necessary work.

    1. Can these computers be wired to a dedicated power circuit, which can be turned off at a pre-set time?

    2. Would wireless plug adaptors be a solution?

    3. Remove the monitors off the desks of people who do not turn them off when they leave at the end of the day, or better still block there access to facebook:eek:!

Yes this might seem to be a lot work, but this module will not only be used to do the monitors, it will be adapted for numerous applications. The system proposed for is part of a complete inteligent control system which will when finished control the whole of power usage in the school.
So i still require some assistance with using the array code.
    Thanks
