    Notes :
    If you are only transferring the user data, you must have a copy of the original project open first. The changed Scene and Schedule data will then be transferred. The Scenes and Schedules in the project on the PC must be exactly the same as what was transferred to the C-Touch. If changes have been made, the data transferred may cause unpredictable effects.

    Darren,
    Can you expand on exactly the same ??
    Does it mean that scenes have to have the same groups in the same order ??
    Do the Scenes have to be in the same order ??

    This is what I did;
    Loaded the CTouch
    User changed schedules
    Then I did a "Refresh"

    Now on the refreshed copy the scene data changed - looks like it put scene data in incorrect scenes, ie the T/O scene into blind up scene.

    Pic1 - 3 scenes
    Pic2 scene before refresh
    pic3 after refresh

    so is there any way of just refreshing the schedules ??

    tks

    You have to have the same number of scenes, in the same order. The scenes must each have the same number of scene components controlling the same groups, in the same order.

    If you change any aspect of a scene, apart from the level of a scene group, then the refresh will not work

    The process is intended to work as follows:
    1. Installer creates project
    2. Installer transfers project to unit
    3. User makes some changes (to a scene or schedule)
    4. User needs installer to make a change to something
    5. Installer refreshes project from unit
    6. Installer makes changes
    7. Installer transfers project to unit

    If you swap steps 5 and 6, then there is no easy way for PICED to reconcile the two projects.

    When you say "blind up" do you mean "bridge up" ?

    The "bridge T/O" Scene and "bridge up" scene are both locked, so should not be able to be changed by the user. Are you saying you made no changes to the PICED project scenes, but the scene data got mixed up when refreshing from the unit?

    You haven't said which scene pic2 and pic3 refer to.

    No

    yep

    yes

    You haven't said which scene pic2 and pic3 refer to.

    That a forum problem, they not show pics in a added display and you can not label the pics.

    so what Happens is;
    turn off opposite direction
    set 100% on direction I want to go, which looked like = pic

    It really wrecked some of the scenes so bad I now have to go back at 430pm on a Friday to reinstall the back up file that Piced created.
