Is it possible to control an existing C-Bus wired network using a 5888TXBA hand held remote comunicating with a 5800WCGA wireless gateway then in-turn controlling loads, scenes etc on the wired network? We would also like to achive this without using any wireless wall plates or plug adaptors.
Has anyone acheived this & how?

    Cheers

no, you have to have a wall plate or plug adapter to receive the transmission from the remote. It is not currently possible (for many reasons) for the gateway to receive and act on wireless remote commands.

ok Ive done alot of reading of the wireless remote and connecting it to a wired system using a plug adaptor but I cannot find anythig telling how to set it up.

I have just bought a wireless plug adaptor (leading edge dimmer), I have a wireless gateway connected to the wired network and also a wireless RF remote. How do i get it setup so i can use the remote to operate the wired system as sugested.

Didnt want to waste the money getting all the hardware just to find out it cant be done.

    thanx
