I think the attachment explains it all. I don't think we would see any high priced professional coming up with innovative solutions like this one!

Only problem is that they are not performing any electrical work.. that's all perfectly acceptable user of consumer electrical items. Except for the water and thongs of course.

You're probably right about them being sparkies, perhaps they figured an RCD would keep them un-toasted, or maybe the power was turned off and they were pulling a prank... I mean, there isn't any meat on the BBQ...

*note to self... confiscate everyone's cameras next time you have a BBQ in the pool....*

    Those guys are idiots...

Electric BBQs suck - they should be using gas.

You sure it was the CIS party? I thought it must have been the Schneider party judging by the Euro power board :p

It was the CIS Christmas Party for sure - I know because I was there. I didn't dare get in the pool though... Not for obvious reasons. The guy leaning back on the pool wall (senior software engineer) admitted to peeing in the pool.

PS. Those are my Masuer sandals holding up the power board.

NickD you are right the electric BBQ was lame...

PSC was not invited to this party this time, becase last time he was the one that pee-ed in the pool. :p

you should have see what we got up to once we had a few more beers.

BTW, the BBQ didn't have a thermostat so we used a high powered dimmer to regulate the temperature, just to be safe (we didn't want anyone to burn themself on a hot surface).
