When you use a competently gang setting in Toolkit it should set the Key Groups in both keys to the same group or grey out the block settings, in fact t shows Unused but if you look at say gang 6 in the block assignments it shows Lounge South.
If you save to database and reopen the unit it changes key 5 to Lounge South

Have not tried in switch yet to see what happens.

    more to come

Set set up as picture 3 save to database and reopen now its changed to picture 4 (gone to ?Scene Set?) and gives an ?Error 6457? no scene data when you now try to save to database.

    Remote Scenes ramp times

How do you control the ramp time for remote triggered scenes ?

There is no Ramp Time option with the ?Remote Scene Trigger? Function, or in the scenes themselves like Piced.

So if I want to trigger a remote scene over say 30 seconds how is it down? .

If the Target Scene is in a Wireless Plate then the Ramp Rate is assigned to the Scene on a per button basis on the "host" plate.. any unit remote triggering the scene gets the scene triggered at the ramp rate selected when the scene was assigned to a button on the host plate.

Its not possible to select a ramp rate when remote triggering.. you gotta live with the ramp rate assigned on the host plate.

    Duncan,
That's cool, thought you would do it that way, be good if you sent the SceneTriggerRate to remote switch. another thing I found is that the help file is not clear in that you need one blank scene for each remote trigger, be nice if you could use one blank scene for all remote triggers.

    tks

Scenes have a long and torrid history. There is a certain amount of yuk that we have to live with for backward compatibility.

As for the bit about blank scenes for remote triggering... there are certain optimisations that the firmware supports, but DONT use them because Toolkit will get confused and we don't want that, do we?!
