Is there a way to have the Wiser 2 release port 80 so that I can setup the ServerSocket to listen for an incoming connection on that port? I'm using a different remote port number and also SSL so I don't have any (known) need for a non-SSL connection to that port otherwise.

Do you mean changing Wiser 2 port number from 80 to a different number? You can change it on Wiser project ---- Project Details Wizard --- Wiser --- Access -- Remote Access Port

That 'remote port' appears only to affect Remote Access, not same subnet access. Port 80 is still being taken over by the Wiser's software and the web interface is still up on Port 80

Funnily enough when running in PICED SImulation Mode Port 80 is available to the Wiser logic being simulated to bind the Server Socket to.
