I am having the exact same problem!
I also did an upgrade yesterday and my wiser iPhone interface has given up. I am able to access and control the UI from any PC on my LAN but not on my iPhone??

I was just wondering if you have anymore updated information on when the New Wiser Application will be availabe for Iphone that will be compatible for OS4 ..

The original iOS4 problem is resolved but we're finding that the app is exhibiting subtle problems with the 3G connection with iOS4. I really hope we can get it out in days but as you can imagine, I'm just an engineer so don't have decision making power in this situation. Anyway, my answer is that it should be days barring force majeur.

 

I agree with kjayakumar, very weak by apple to have apps crashing due to an upgrade. Wiser is not the only app to of suffered from this update.

kjayakumar please post immediately when the update is available.

I too vote for the profiling option.

 

Thanks kjayakumar for all your information and update. This is to remind that here is an unofficial forum with quick help (if there is a solution) and I appreciate all the quick responds from top to bottom of the C-Bus R&D teams.

Just a few feedbacks:

(1) Really wish to have WISER catagory in this forum so we can search feedbacks easily. (Wish the forum Admin sees this post)

(2) Please list out all the mobile phone OS (with versions) tested for the WISER officially from your team. I know there maybe too few at the moment and all effort is made for the i-phone. However, I think Android is another major trend and, to be honest, it is easier to upgrade existing projector files to work with the latest Android or FlashLite software than working with Apple. If any user have success with any phone, please let us know too.

(3) I guess any short term solution with the I-phone apps will be greatly appreciated since the existing one just died in all situation and it is bad for new clients. It is a big problem from Apple and as I have heard WISER app is not the only one. The camera software died often too and it is a big joke and disaster. Even my carrier provider doesn't recommend upgrade for now. As ususal there should be OS4.1 soon. So Wiser could have, just like toolkit, have 1.1; 1.1.1; 1.1.2...etc too.

(4) Hope someone is working on the projector files too.....

 

I second, third and fourth the Android support request. Have used both apple and android based phones and its a no contest. Get on it or get left behind!

Any news or updates on this would be great.

Just downloaded the OS4.01 in hope that it might rectify the problem with the wiser app but it still has the same issue.... Just posting this for your information ....

I've been informed that the fixed app (together with all the promised new features, security, etc) has been submitted to Apple. So we're waiting with bated breath...

I have a customer that has a wiser at home and at the holiday house. A UI with multiple wiser options would be more than useful especially when they are overseas
