Wiser and Logic

Hi guys and gals,

Just a quick question. I have a wiser which i have set up for a customer which works exactly as i want it to, except for one thing. After a power faliure or a reboot of the wiser or the like, it takes a good 10 mins before the logic in the wiser unit will work???

Anybody have any ideas??

The logic doesn't start running until the C-Bus network has been scanned, but this generally takes much less than a minute. How many units are on your network?

 

A quick question, does this Wiser have access to the internet in order to fetch ntp time? If it doesn't then it may be waiting to timeout on that. One solution would be to disable ntp time and then the Wiser will obtain its time only from the C-Bus time source.

 

Darren there are only 50 units on the network so nothing to extreem?

kjayakumar that is a great idea. Its not connected to the internet yet but is set up for it, so the ntp time is enabled. I will dissable it when im next at the job and post the results here.
