Android App works well ... impressed with the speed. Two tiny bugs related to a widget of type User System IO String 1) looks like the string has been passed through tolower (i.e. all caps are gone) and 2) a degrees Celsius circle displays as literally °

No IP address input problem on my Galaxy Note 2 using Swype ...

Doh, I wrote ampersand, hash, 1 7 6 semicolon and the browser did the right thing with it, Android app doesn't :)

    Its definitely speedy.
I can log into it through the web interface but am getting a this on the app today...

Also, the little three dots on the bottom right don't really do anything in this screen. When clicked, they just jolt the phone with the vibration feedback but nothing changes on the screen.

    Wow

I am not sure if this has been noticed by everyone, but after playing around some more, I have realised that it is even possible to change widget names, even scenes and schedules!

I am totally impressed! This gives a whole new dimension to Wiser.

Very well done by the developers. Thank you!:):)

    hi ariddell

i couldnt reproduce the problem with Sony Xperia ICS and Galaxy Tab Gingerbread that we have here.
can you confirm us, that you dont have any 3rd party soft-keyboard, like swype, installed?
will be great if you can provide us with the details about your devices, ie: manufacture, model, firmware version and perhaps picture/video of the bugs...

    cheers....

Just wanted to point out that it's been on web UI, also accessible through Android w/flash, has had this feature for ages...

I updated my previous post with the screenshot but thought I would add it in case someone doesn't look back...

None of the buttons actually control the system, just provide vibrating feedback on the phone when pressed. Web UI and iPhone app work better in this regard.

Anyone else having issues controlling cbus mra from the android app at all?

I am running ICS 4.0 and with the wiser app its very difficult to control volume, bass and treble.. Managed to get around it by putting additional dimmer widgets in to control these items..

    Cheers,
    Nik

I was hoping that we would see some kind of update now that its been out for over a month. Not to add functionality, just to make the things in the app actually work. Whatever team or employee that created the app, kudos, but finish the job.

Makes me wonder if this is a good example of why corporations fail as they grow larger and larger...although I have no previous experience with Clipsal prior to their French takeover.

    Hi Poldim,

I just noticed your post. I'm looking now in this thread to see what the issue you're encountering is. Have you filed a customer support issue about this?

strange enough, i couldn't reproduce bug as described by poldim.
but, thanks to him, i've found another bugs on HVAC and fixed it.

    other fixes:
    - always make new connection, when application started.
    - add 'configure' button, before 'terminate application' button on communication status dialog box.
    - bugfix HVAC: - disable zone, setpoint and fan speed button during zone group off; display correct fan speed value.
    - bugfix - control button on new mra
    - new sliding tab power status panel
    - new layout for security panel -> new sliding tab, new keypad, new status layout
    - slider bar for mra's volume, treble and bass control (replacing the previous "graph type").

new update will be available in next few days.

I submitted my information on the link you provided. However, I'm concerned that this is not a method of providing a bug report. No information was asked about what type of issue I'm having or even the product in question. I provided my contact info, so I'll see where it goes from here.

Does anyone that work for Clipsal know if there is a bug submission system like that of Firefox or other software applications?
