    Hi all,

I have only just started using Wiser and I am trying to integrate a camera on the system. I am using it on a C-touch at present all good, I can access it in a browser on the LAN (http://192.168.0.121/cgi-bin/viewer/video.jpg it currently is on port 80), haven't tried over WAN yet and don't care too much as I wanted to use Wiser or my NAS for viewing (prefer Wiser because then I can turn the lights on from the same APP).

It is possible that it fails because I don't have authentication in the url and presumed this location could be accessed unauthenticated. What symptoms does this show if that is the case.

Do I need to forward ports to allow the camera to work with Wiser on the LAN (I have tried fwding ports and it hasn't seemed to work or change anything except disturb current connections like C-touch).

I have the Wiser set up on LAN (option B in the installation instructions), accessible from our static IP which is working well too.

Ok, removed password from camera and it worked straight away. Can anyone suggest if there is a way to authenticate in the url request?

I am not happy having unrestricted access from the WAN, can I restrict access to the Wisers' and other LAN ip's at the camera or does the camera connect through the iphone APP itself?

Ok, some CIS assistance fixed this problem and another that may help some people.

In the URL of the widget use the url including forwarded port

    ie http://x.x.x.x:"forwarded port"/image-location/image-file.jpg

In the port place the same forwarded port

Slow the refresh rate until the image is stable - I originally had 500ms and found 2s was much more reliable.
