    Programming a new home.

Have single zone thermostat with relays controlling BRAVIS Gas heating and Aircon via analogue interface. dry contacts for Heat Cool and Vent.

Used the Template "heat pump usa single stage" (could not see anything else) seem to all work well from the thermostat.

Added the widget to wiser and when it displays it show 0degrees. if you press any of the buttons like on/off or setpoint the iphone app crashes.

Using the latest wiser SW and the lastest IPHONE app.

have not tried with old iphone app or sw as this is a new install.

Am I using the wrong template?

    Help please...

    I need some help please...

Have single zone thermostat with relays controlling BRAVIS Gas heating and Heat pump Aircon via analogue interface. dry contacts for Heat Cool and Vent. Y (cool) G (fan) and W (Heat)

    http://www.cbusforums.com/forums/showpost.php?p=12828&postcount=3 is the instructions

After looking at the Predefinded installations the "Conventional Single Stage Heat/Cool USA System" fits the bill.

    Y is on relay 1 G on Relay 2 and W on relay 5

This has all be working perfectly no problems till the wiser programming comes along.

If I add the wiser widget for the thermostat it adds OK.

when you go to use it it crashes the iphone app and and locks up the flash wiser. it displays the temperature as -1

Just want to turn the unit on and off and set temp. The end user is in a wheel chair can can not operate the unit on the wall.

I was reading in on forum that the wiser ONLY supports "Basic Reverse Cycle System"

I tried changing this and then editing the internal relays to reflect they same Y G W but there are also other signals it wants (cool activation B and Y heat cool I just removed these from the GUI to unused but now the relays dont click on and activate the heater/cool.

How do I fix this so wiser works...

I have rung support but so far all they have send me is this video which was good but does not addess my problem.

I you make a copy of wiser file and send to support and they make all sorts of changes and then tell you to load back.

How can I load this back WITHOUT loosing the customers "Energy history"

is there a way to ONLY load the energy meter info.

    Normal Procedure

The process of making changes to a Wiser project without losing user data is as follows:
    1. Open Wiser project in PICED
    2. Refresh project from Wiser
    3. Make changes
    4. Transfer project back to Wiser

A problem arises if there is a large time between step 2 and 4 because the user data you obtained in step 2 is out of date by the time you transfer the project back to Wiser in step 4.

    Long Edit Time Procedure

If the editing is going to take a long time, do it this way:

    1. Open Wiser project in PICED
    2. Refresh project from Wiser
    3. Make changes and save project
    4. Refresh project from Wiser again (this will overwrite the project file and user data, but will backup the project, including changes from step 3)
    5. Replace the project file with the backup copy automatically created in step 4
    6. Transfer project back to Wiser

    Off-site Changes to Project

If the editing is going to be done off-site, do it this way:

    1. Open Wiser project in PICED
    2. Make changes and save project
    3. Go to site
    4. Refresh project from Wiser again (this will overwrite the project file and user data, but will backup the project, including changes from step 2)
    5. Replace the project file with the backup copy automatically created in step 4
    6. Transfer project back to Wiser

This will not include any changes made to scenes and schedules by the user, but will prevent power meter data from being lost

Thank you darren. I will keep this on file for next time.

I lost the energy data today ! before reading this

could we add to the wish list an option in piced. just to update data (except project) from wiser.

This would make it so much simpler.
