    Hi,

I'm using the Wiser iPhone app and have noticed what I believe to be a bug:

My Wiser configuration contains a 'User System IO Time' widget.

Using an iPhone 4, touching the '>' button to the right of the time widget displays a pop-up editor with 'dials' to adjust the hours, minutes and seconds. This works great and I can touch 'set' to apply any changes and close the editor.

However, when using exactly the same configuration on an iPhone 3GS or iPad, touching the '>' button to the right of the time widget results in the pop-up editor appearing too far down the screen, such that only the title bar and the 'Close' button are visible. This makes it impossible to edit the time value on an iPhone 3GS or an iPad.

Is this a bug related to the different screen resolution of the iPhone 3GS vs the iPhone 4, and if so, would you be able to offer a fix?

    Thanks,

    Chris.

    Hi,

I've entered this in our tracking system for investigation (ref 21142).

The developer has asked for details of the firmware version on each of the devices you are using... can you provide this?

    Cheers,

    Nick

Have you been able to reproduce this problem, or is it just me?

    Thanks,

    Chris.

Yes... according to the developer it's an issue with iOS 4.2 and above, not the hardware platform.

He claims to have fixed it in an internal build (I haven't verified it myself).

As for when this will be available, I don't know, and even if I did I wouldn't be at liberty to say :)

If you need an answer your best chance of getting it is to press your local sales rep for it so the noise finds its way back to the product managers. Some of them monitor this forum, but there's nothing like noise from the reps to get things moving :)

    Hi Nick,

Thanks for the update. It's good to hear that this has been reproduced and fixed - I'll look forward to a new build being released.

    Best regards,

    Chris.
