    George,

I've heard from a couple of sources that it isn't far away, ie within the next 2 months.

I wouldn't let it stop you putting in a CBUS system, Wiser 2 is a bolt on product anyway.

    Cheers

I still cant get them in the US.

I wish these folks would get their act straight. Talk to Rob Armstrong is Smyrna TN for a lesson in respectable and accurate marketing methodology...

At a previous place I worked I had a wooden model flying pig that I hung from the ceiling. (about 30 cm long). Used fishing line and you could pull a small cord the make the wings flap as it hung there.

It was a subtle way of saying what I thought about the things we were expected to do (though also a very in-joke due to other circumstances). I left it behind when I left.

I'd like to see Flying Pig 2.0. It might be better than the one I had.

I had one of those at a place I used to work at. It had various projects written on the wings.
I too left it there when I left.
Recently I was asked to help them with some legacy systems that no current staff member knew about. I returned for a visit, and there was the pig, still hanging exactly where I left it, 10 years on.

    December now ?

I just got told today that there is a new one coming out in Dec 14 .... asked if it was the Mk II (which Clipsal website lists as being available Jul 14) and was told it was a new version again.
I asked if there were any tech specs on difference between Mk II and this new version - told not yet still in testing.

from 2013 C-Bus Product Overview Catalogue:

•Future integration with many IP based devices

I hope this is what has been the hold up. And they will be future proofing by introducing integration with all the new tech available and coming such as August SmartLocks, and Hue globes for bedside lamps direct or via Homekit.

Also the HDMI with CEC will this allow controlling on/off etc the TV and audio receivers? and what about keyboard use?

Hopefully the delay is in getting a MFi-certified HomeKit bridge incorporated.
