I'm not aware of any issue with ip addresses over a 100. In fact, my Wiser has been at:

    Router IP Address: 192.168.100.120
    Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
    CNI Information 192.168.100.111:14000

for over 2 years and I haven't had any problems. Did the person who said there was an issue give any issue# or provide more details?

    I just opened a case 21863
QUN rang me about the issue but was not understanding the actual issue and transferred me to someone else

    Where I was told

"WISER does not support 10.x.x.x addresses on the LAN PORT there are bugs when using this subnet and I should be using 192.168.x.x addresses.

" I was also told not to use a static address with a numbers over 100 as there are also know bugs with static addresses over 100 on the wiser"

When I asked if the issue would be fixed I was told "No. They have been there for more than 2 years. They are working on the "WISER 2" product and faults in old products are not having engineering resources spent on them."

Basically no idea how to fix my problem.

    Well we now know.

    1) 10 address are fine just subnet mask must be 255.255.255.0
    2) IP above 100 is also ok
    3) Wiser 2 is vapourware....
    4) LAN for wiser mean "ON the same subnet as the LAN ports" NOT comming on the LAN port.

    My issue sorted.

Glad all this other miss communication has been sorted out.

Thankyou for all your help on this matter

    Charles
