    First of all I'm still using PICED 4.7.2 not ready to update yet.

    Scenes do not operate "normally" if you use a lighting relay to trigger a scene on the Wiser.

    If you use the scene function, you have to use something other than the lighting application to trigger the scene... this is very frustrating, the warning should be enough, like when you are programming the touch screens. Has this changed in the update?

    Can you clarify what does not operate "normally" ?

    Which warning?

    Wiser Only Supports the Scene trigger Kill method, All scenes on wiser must have an associated scene action selector which can only reside on the trigger application. This is different to C-Bus touch screens which have been warning you for years that the best place for a scene action selector is on the trigger application.

    if you must trigger a scene from a lighting app (because you have older key input units that do not support dual app) then create a bit of logic in the wiser.

    Once Getlighitnglevel("scene group") = On then Setscene("My Scene");

    should do the trick.

    Darren I think Colins post probably answers your questions. I'm more than happy to clarify further though.

    Colin... your right its still possible, but logic to trigger a scene :eek: Why lock this out now.

    I haven't had to worry about it till now, but do the standard and slimline's released currently allow dual application control?

    Are touch screens now locked into this as well? I'd like some consistency here... and preferably not being locked out.

    Recent standard key units (2000 series etc) with firmware 2.x.xx or greater allow native triggering of a Scene on the Trigger Control application. In the function drop-down list there is a function called Scene Trigger.
