Wiser does not support RTSP. What exactly are you wanting to do?

    Lokesh,

It is hard for us to understand what exactly you want to do. I googled grandstream IP VDP and found what looks like a video door phone. Ok so far. It uses SIP. Ok so far. Wiser is just a router, so that's plain old UDP/TCP/IP traffic as far as it is concerned so it will go through Wiser just fine if your intent is to route that traffic through a Wiser. But you also wrote above "control it using Wiser". That part is confusing. Do you mean you want the Wiser C-Bus user interface to be able to make video door phone calls using SIP and RTSP? If so, that's not supported at this time. If you meant something else, then you may want to take the time to provide a sufficiently detailed explanation so that we can understand what you want to do.

    Sorry for my confusing post.
I just want that when my client is using Wiser and someone is on door he should be able to talk to him and see him in Wiser only. And he should also be able to open the door too with help of the same. Grandstream has its own 14.99$ iPad software called 2N for all this. But i wanted to do all these functions using Wiser only.

This is not going to be possible with Wiser.

You've used a confused emoticon. Why? What is confusing?

The Wiser user interfaces for iPhone/iTouch, Android, and Adobe Flash are all only to control C-Bus devices. At this time, there is no video-audio doorstation conferencing capability in the Wiser user interface.

If your customer has a doorstation and wants to use the Wiser UI to talk to the doorstation, then that's not possible. They can of course use whichever application is suitable for the doorstation, and then when they wish to control the door using C-Bus, exit or switch from that application to the Wiser user interface.

Wouldn't be great if some company came out and looked at the needs of current customers and existing technologies to integrate an all in one solution...? RTSP may be a bit unit specific, but it should be able to have ways of handling this and providing the voice & video comms.

C'mon Schneider, where is that 4-5% you say you put back into R&D???

    Hi Lokesh,

Your explanation was really confusing but the other respondees have given you the correct advice about the Wiser's abilities directly.

If what you were actually getting at was that you wanted to run a Wiser AND have the ability to use a SIP based door phone, then you can do that using an iPhone and a Wiser (being the 802.11N wireless gateway). The Wiser 'Surveillance' IP camera widget can display many cameras that support JPG images. The Helios 2N door station is one that has a camera that (I am told-know it works in Homegate) can be displayed on a Wiser GUI as it uses JPGs in a certain location that the Wiser can get to and display. If you want you can even set the door strike to be controlled using a C-Bus relay and therefore you can push a Wiser GUI button to release the door. The hard part is the voice comms which the Wiser can't do in the GUI. Use a cheap IP phone.

I would alternatively suggest using the 3CX softphone (free) on your iPhone talking to your doorstation. Many doorstations like the Helios can make a SIP call direct to a softphone like 3CX (ie. without needing to register on a SIP server). You can then use the '*0' (or whatever is setup in the doorstation's setup) DTMF code to open the doorstrike, which you would directly link to the Helios/Other SIP doorstation. Most have a direct strike output actuated by DTMF or dry reed input.

There are also some PC based doorstation clients like VideoSPINDoor that do both video and door release on a PC. see http://videospindoor.netspin.it/prodotti/videospindoor.

    All the best,

    Brad
