    Hi all

I have gotten the wiser to the point where it is connecting remotely to a browser or iPhone, the problem is that the cameras are not displaying? i have tried some solutions with changing the ports on the 241Q and setting the Default router to the same ip as the wiser.
I am using the B method
the Axis 241Q video servers default port is 80 but i have changed that to 8001 to see if that would work still no joy? (with opening those ports on the main router. side note if you do that then you have to add the port on the end of the IP address to use on an internal browser )

is there a post or thread that lists the correct settings, procedures to follow?

    thanks

I intend to release a full setup detail for this shortly however to address your problem Quickly, if you have everything setup as per the documentation and your cameras have the default gateway set to the the Wiser LAN address.

Then Plug a Network cable from the WAN port of the wiser, and connect it to either a second port on you router/modem, or back onto one of the LAN ports of the wiser (basically connect the WAN port to your local LAN) you should make sure the wiser WAN port is set for DHCP (it is by default)

so if you then have ll the ports for external camera access forwarded to the WISER LAN IP address (these are the ports you define when creating the widget in PICED) and you have local LAN access to the cameras working through a WISER client then remote access should now work also.

I hope to get a full document up regarding the setup for camera's shortly.
