    hi guys ,

I installed recently a SENTEMP 5031ES in order to swich my HVAC automatically on and off . To my big surprise , it reads a T which is higher than the real on by 6 Celcius . Although I can still do my job , it bothers me to take a false reading from an rather expensive thermometer . Do I have to do something to compesate the error and get the real value on my screen ?
    Thanks a lot

    Hi PhK
If the temperature is 6 degrees out measured at the location of your sensor I think it needs to be replaced.
Does the offset adjustment in ToolKit reflect in the output value?

Thanks Daryl , I will try to send it back to the supplier following your advice . In Toolkit UI I see a cursor named '' target offset '' but I think it controls the economy mode operation . I do not think it corrects the T measurement of the sensor if there is an offset with the real thermometer . Am I wrong ?
